    MOTTEP  Founder

        Clive O. Callender  (Born 1936)

Is one of the foremost specialists in organ transplant medicine in the United States. The Howard University Hospital surgeon has focused much of his career on transplant medicine among minority segments of the population, along with the unique health and social issues relevant to them as potential donors.

Citizens of the region received and discussed issues of health at Purdue University  NW.  A knowledgeable  facilitator  answered  topics  of  discussion  as they rotated  to  tables as determined  by the  moderator.

Pastor Homer Walker of Living Water Baptist Church in partnership with Heartland Blood Center invited Multicultural Wellness Network to setup a table to distribute information as the congregation and the community set aside time this weekend during interment rain to donate blood to give those in need a chance for a better, healthier life.

Thank you for the gift of life!   205
